Back to school Scrapbook Layout
This is another oldie but goodie!
I created this layout back in 2013. It features:
Main mats: 12" x 12", 11.75" x 11.75", 11.5" x 11.5" ( red CS, mustard CS and pattern paper - Recollections - respectively)
Photo mat: 8" x 6", 7.75" x 5.75" (butter yellow CS, black pattern paper- DCWV Back to School)
Internal photo mat: 7" x 5", 6.75" x 4.75" (red CS and pattern paper - Mosaic Paper Pad, Recollection)
Green strip at bottom cut using Martha Stewart Doily Punch
Tree from Stretch your Imagination (shift) - 5"h
Apple from Create a Critter (shift) - 2"h
School bus from Stretch your Imagination - 2.5"h
Sun is just a crimped rosette (edge was cut with the same Martha Stewart punch from above)
"Too cool for school" was made using the shadow feature and welding it with an internal rectangle. Font used was Stretch Font from Cricut's Basic Font and Shapes and cut at size (not altered from CCR)
Accents:
Cuts where popped up and inked around the edges using Chalk Ink: Cocoa Powder
Embellishments come are from one of the papers of the DCWV Back to School stack, hand cut
Ruler strip comes from a Recollections Paper Pad (Vintage or Groovy Times, I believe is the name)
Colored white dash lines around main outer mat
